Vaccines for the Uninsured and Underinsured Adults

If you are an adult and do not have insurance, but need vaccines, you may be eligible for certain vaccines at a low cost through the West Virginia Adult Vaccine Program. Please call or email our office to inquire for more information.

Vaccines for the Uninsured and Underinsured Child

If your child does not have insurance, but needs vaccines for school, we can help them get vaccines at a low cost. Uninsured and underinsured children can recieve vaccines through the West Virginia’s Vaccine for Children (VFC) Program. Please call or email us for more information.

Medical Fees

Blood Pressure testing  $5 service fee

Head lice check $5 service fee

Due to Federal and State budget cuts to the West Virginia Division of Tuberculosis Elimination (WV-DTBE), only extremely high risk persons can receive free tuberculosis testing. Anyone who is NOT high risk will be charged. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.

Family Planning:
Free or low-cost birth control. Fees based on number in household and income. Please call for an appointment.

Immunizations for Adults and Children:
Routine and travel immunizations available. New patients must submit shot records and insurance information prior to scheduling. Please call for an appointment.

Flu Shots:
Available seasonally, typically October-April. Businesses and organizations can call us to arrange for nurse to come to your workplace. Individuals can make an appointment or check our calendar for after-hours free flu shot clinics.

Sexually Transmitted Disease/HIV Testing:
Low-cost testing for gonorrhea, chlamydia, HIV, and syphilis. High-risk individuals can also be tested for hepatitis B and C. Please call for an appointment.

TB clinic hours:
TB skin tests & screening letters are by appointment only! TB skin tests and screening letters are given Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 9:00-11:00AM and 1:00-3:30PM. Adults must return in 3 days to have the results read between 9:00AM and 4:00PM. Children in school k-12 may have the rest read by their school nurse.

Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program
Program is for women who no longer have a need for birth control; must be 25+ years old. Fee is income based. Please call for an appointment.

Epidemiology Surveillance Program:
The Health Department investigates all reportable diseases in the county. To learn more click here.

Monday thru Friday 9:00AM – 3:00PM:

Walk-ins for blood pressure testing, emergency contraception, and head lice checks
